Megan Visser

Meg is the kind of person who has been in tech long enough to have seen just about everything, yet she still approaches each new challenge with curiosity and energy. With more than 18 years of experience across the industry, she has worked with global giants like Apple, private equity firms, and fast-paced startups. That range has shaped her into a leader who can think strategically while staying grounded in the practical realities of execution.

At Otto IT, Meg leads both the Customer and Marketing teams. Her focus is on building strong, lasting partnerships, creating marketing that actually connects with people, and making sure technology is not just functional but genuinely useful. She is a strong believer in collaboration and in making sure the customer experience is always front and centre.

In her previous role, Meg held a dual position as Head of Marketing and Virtual CIO. She also founded and led the company’s Equality Council, where she championed diversity and inclusion initiatives that earned industry recognition. Her work there included leading digital transformations, building marketing systems from the ground up, and helping businesses become more secure, more inclusive, and more aligned with their goals.

She has received several accolades for her work, including winning the 2024 ARN DE&I Champion award, which reflects her commitment to creating a more equitable and human-focused tech industry.

Outside of work, Meg is drawn to philosophy and psychology, often exploring how people think, grow, and connect. She is a passionate advocate for mental health and diversity in tech. And when she is not deep in strategy or mentoring others, you will probably find her lost in a fantasy novel, the kind that pulls you into another world and keeps you there for hours.

Meg brings a rare combination of insight, empathy, and drive to everything she does. She is thoughtful, focused, and always looking for ways to make things better for her team, her clients, and the broader tech community.
