Otto IT has been formally re-certified as a Great Place to Work for the fifth consecutive year. For a business that was built on the belief that great technology starts with great people, this milestone means more than any external metric. It is the view from the inside — from the people who show up every day — and that makes it the one we are most proud of.
Five Years Running
Great Place to Work certification is not a self-nomination or a marketing exercise. It is based on an anonymous survey of your team, measuring trust, pride, camaraderie, and the day-to-day experience of working inside the business. The organisation that earns the certification is the one its own people say is worth working at.
Earning that five years in a row, through rapid growth, significant change, and an evolving industry, is something we do not take lightly. It tells us that the investments we are making in our people are landing. Not just in policy documents or benefits packages, but in how people actually feel when they walk through the door.
What We Have Been Building
The past twelve months at Otto IT have been among our most active in terms of people investment. We introduced structured professional coaching programs across the business, giving team members access to the kind of development support that is usually reserved for executives at much larger organisations. We built closed-loop communication into the fabric of how we operate, so that feedback from clients and from our own team does not disappear into a survey but results in visible, trackable change.
Monthly NPS coaching sessions have become a rhythm rather than a calendar item. The leadership team reviews client satisfaction data together, discusses what it means, and acts on it. The same rigour we apply to client outcomes we apply to the experience of our own people.
We have continued our continuous Microsoft certification refresh cycles, ensuring every technical team member holds current credentials as the platform evolves. We became a formal Anthropic partner, one of the first managed service providers in Australia to do so, and we have been running active internal research and development work on AI and automation, testing tools on ourselves before we ever recommend them to a client.
None of this happens without a team that is genuinely engaged and genuinely good at what they do. The Great Place to Work re-certification is the measure that confirms we are getting that part right.
A Word from Milan Rajkovic, Founder and CEO
“Five years of Great Place to Work certification is not something that happens by accident. It is the result of a deliberate, consistent commitment to building a workplace where people want to be, where they grow, and where they do their best work. That commitment does not get easier as you scale. If anything, it requires more intentionality at every stage. I am incredibly proud of this team and of what we have built together.”
What This Means for Our Clients
There is a direct line between how a team feels about coming to work and the quality of service they deliver to clients. A team that is supported, developed, and genuinely engaged brings a different quality of attention to a client’s environment than one that is simply clocking in and out.
Our clients trust us with their businesses. That trust is earned every day by the people who pick up the phone, respond to a ticket, manage a project, or proactively flag a risk before it becomes a problem. Great Place to Work certification is the independent confirmation that those people are well supported, well led, and committed to the work they do.
About the Great Place to Work Certification
Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, based on decades of research and data from millions of employees worldwide. Certification is awarded based on the results of the Trust Index survey, completed anonymously by employees. It measures the extent to which employees consistently experience a high-trust workplace. Organisations that meet the threshold earn certification for one year, with re-certification requiring the same standard to be met each time.
Five consecutive years of certification means five consecutive years of our team independently confirming that Otto IT is a great place to work. We intend to make it six.
